About the Coach

Martina Abagnale is an experienced freelance translator and co-founder of Lemon Twist. What began in 2020 as a personal quest for a fast and intuitive way to organize her translation work, turned into a fully fledged company in May 2024: Lemon Twist. Her mantra is: Every click counts.

Meet

Martina Abagnale

Martina Abagnale is an Italian financial translator based in the Netherlands. She studied translation at the University of Trieste and at KU Leuven in Belgium and later started her career as translation project manager.

In 2019 she started working as a freelance translator and has since worked with international clients while also organizing translation events, delivering presentations, and training professionals on topics related to freelancing, productivity, and running a sustainable independent business. In 2024 she co-founded Lemon Twist, a project management software for freelance language professionals.

Her objective was creating an easy tool that reduces administrative overwhelm and makes day-to-day work easier to manage.
