Conditions for TranslaStars 100
In the absence of a specific contract between course creators and TranslaStars, these terms and conditions apply as the basis for the collaboration between TranslaStars and the course creator.
1. Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:
- TranslaStars refers to TranslaStars, the company that owns and operates the TranslaStars platform and the TranslaStars 100 programme.
- Creator means any individual or organisation that creates, uploads, or publishes courses through the TranslaStars 100 programme.
- Course means any educational content, live or recorded, made available on the TranslaStars platform.
- Student or Buyer means any person who purchases or enrols in a course.
- Annual Fee means the yearly payment due for the selected plan.
- Net Course Revenue refers to the total amount paid by students, minus the payment-processing fee of 8 percent and any refunds or chargebacks.
- Payment Platforms are the third-party processors such as Stripe or PayPal used to handle transactions.
2. Purpose
These Terms regulate the professional relationship between TranslaStars and each Creator who participates in the TranslaStars 100 programme.
They establish the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of both parties concerning the publication, hosting, marketing, and monetisation of educational courses on the TranslaStars platform.
By joining the programme, paying the Annual Fee, and submitting content, the Creator expressly accepts these Terms.
3. Plans and Services
TranslaStars 100 offers three annual subscription plans: Starter, Trainer, and Professional.
Each plan defines the number of courses a Creator may publish, the level of platform visibility, the corresponding intellectual-property arrangements and benefit share for the parts.
All plans include hosting, technical support during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CET), access to analytics, and use of TranslaStars’ licensed Zoom environment for live sessions.
Courses must be scheduled between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. CET for the Starter and Trainer Plans and between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. CET for the Professional Plan, subject to available slots.
TranslaStars may adjust course schedules for operational reasons, giving reasonable notice.
4. Financial Conditions
The Annual Fee for each plan must be paid in advance and is non-refundable once the plan is active. Plans renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
An 8 percent payment-processing fee applies to every course sale to cover payment gateway and administrative costs.
This fee is automatically deducted before transferring revenues to the Creator.
Creators receive their monthly payouts within thirty (30) days following receipt of a valid legal invoice and the expiration of the fourteen-day refund period available to students.
Payments are made via bank transfer or PayPal as specified by the Creator in the invoice (any comissions are assumed by the Creator and will be deducted from the total revenues).
Creators are fully responsible for their own tax declarations and obligations.
TranslaStars does not offer tax or legal advice.
5. Refunds and Disputes
Students may request a refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of the purchase date, in accordance with European consumer-protection law.
When a refund or chargeback is approved, the corresponding amount is deducted from the Creator’s next payout. Note that disputes can have a higher cost than the cost price itself.
TranslaStars may temporarily withhold payments in cases of open disputes, refund requests, or investigations.
If a complaint about course quality is confirmed, TranslaStars may refund the buyer directly and adjust the Creator’s future payments.
Both parties agree to act in good faith to resolve disputes promptly and fairly.
6. Content Provision and Updates
All course materials, including videos, slides, audio, exercises, and downloadable documents, must be created and provided by the Creator.
The Creator guarantees that all materials comply with applicable copyright, privacy, and consumer-protection laws and that they hold full rights to use the content.
Content updates are those requested after all the content has been submitted following TranslaStars guidelines.
Course descriptions changes are those requested after all course descriptions have been submitted following TranslaStars guidelines.
Content updates may be requested according to the selected plan:Under the Starter Plan, each content update outside the first time content is submitted has a price of €20.
Under the Trainer Plan, one (1) update per course outside the first time content is submitted is included (any extra change has a price of €20).
Under the Professional Plan, two (2) updates per course outside the first time content is submitted are included (any extra change has a price of €20).
TranslaStars may review proposed updates to ensure technical and quality consistency.
Any content update due to a mistake made by TranslaStars does not count as an update requested by the Creator. Any update in content due to a natural change (e.g. change of a link to a live session for the recording of that session) does not count as a change requested by the Creator.
Course descriptions may be modified according to the selected plan:
Under the Starter Plan, each description page change outside the first time the description has been submitted has a price of €20.
Under the Trainer Plan, one (1) description page change per course outside the first time the description has been submitted is included (any extra change has a price of €20).
Under the Professional Plan, two (2) description page changes per course outside the first time the description has been submitted are included (any extra change has a price of €20).
Any change in description due to a mistake made by TranslaStars does not count as a change requested by the Creator. Any change in description due to a natural change (start date when the date is over) do not count as a change requested by the Creator.
TranslaStars reserves the right to edit descriptions for clarity, accuracy, or compliance with brand and legal standards.
