Pablo is a Spanish
medical translator with more than 40 years of experience. He
graduated in medicine in 1987 and since then has worked for the most important
translation agencies in Spain and abroad, and for most of the major
pharmaceutical companies and CROs. He is an external translator for the WHO in
Geneva, Switzerland and an editor for the OPS. He is one of the foremost
authorities on the translation of EN>ES clinical trial protocols, on which
he has published a highly demanded manual.
Since 2009 he has presented more than a hundred workshops, courses and conferences in both English and Spanish, in person and online, in many countries in Europe and in North and South America. Currently, he is a consultant for the terminology unit of the Spanish Royal National Academy of Medicine and for Evidera. Ana Sofia Correia is an English-to-Portuguese medical translator and writer based in Portugal, with 18 years of experience in the field. She collaborates with life sciences companies, contract research organizations, language service providers, and medical communication agencies.
After 12 years as an in-house translator at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra and the Nursing School of Coimbra, Ana Sofia transitioned to full-time freelancing in 2019. During that period, she also served as Professor of Livestock Health at the University of Belgrano.
For over 20 years, Verónica has worked exclusively in translation and simultaneous interpretation in the field of animal health. Her working languages are Spanish, English, and Portuguese; she also speaks French and Italian.
