Frequently Asked Questions

1. What Type of Courses Can I Create?

You decide:
a. You can create a live course (you only need to have a description page ready to launch and start selling it) and then have all the content ready on the date of the course. The advantage with these courses is that live sessions get recorded and they are uploaded after they have taken place, so you can generate more profits from the same course (being it on-demand).
Live courses are our students' preferred option.

b. You can also create an on-demand course with recorded content (in case you want to use videos). You will need to have all the content ready before we can launch and start selling the course.

2. Do I Need to Have All the Content Ready Before Launching a Course?

If you decide to create a live course, you only need to have the description page ready.
If you decide to create an on-demand course, you will need to have all the content created before the course can be launched.

3. Who Owns the Rights of the Course?

Copyright ownership depends on the type of subscription plan you choose. You have more information in the descriptions above and in point 7 of our Terms and Conditions.

4. What Happens to My Course If I Don't Renew My Subscription?

a. In the Starter Plan
TranslaStars can decide to keep on selling it without any obligation from the course creator (for example, to answer any student question). There are no shared profits. There are no costs for the course creator. Those who have bought the course keep access forever to the course content.

b. In the Trainer and Professional Plan
TranslaStars will stop selling and advertising your course.

5. Can TranslaStars decide not to Publish a Course?

TranslaStars reserves the right to prevent the publication/remove courses from the platform for whatever the reason it deems appropriate. In case no course proposed in 1 month is accepted, TranslaStars will refund the course creator the full subscription fee (minus the 8% to cover payment gateways fees).

6. What are the Course Creator Obligations?

There are some obligations and they are all defined in TranslaStars 100 terms and conditions, specifically in point 8.
