Course Conditions for TranslaStars.COM
The main objective of TranslaStars courses is for students (those persons or entities purchasing courses) to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge through high level content taught/created by active professionals related to the specific characteristics of each course.
The aim is also for students to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge by means of self assessed or tutor controleld activities (depending on the course and its nature-live/asynchronous) that will help them advance in their professional career.
In any case, in all types of courses, students have the possibility of contacting the creator of the course and/or the course tutors and make them questions about the course contents.
Personal data provided by students upon registration and/or sign-up is stored at the TranslaStars headquarters at Calle Virgen de la Cabeza 9, Estepona (Málaga/Spain). Students have the right to access, modify, delete, or update their data by contacting TranslaStars at manager@translastars.com
Any student who purchases a course agrees to comply with each of the points set out in this document and declares to have read, understood, and accepted them.
A. RIGHTS
Fees and conditions applicable to all courses
1. Students of TranslaStars courses have the right to contact course creators and tutors through established channels as many times as they deem appropriate and ask them about course contents or activities.
2. The student has the right to a partial or total refund of the course price should TranslaStars decide to suspend the course or be unable to guarantee the conditions agreed upon at the beginning.
3. Students are entitled to receive a certificate of completion for their courses (provided that they have completed the entire course content and performed the assigned tasks/activities).
4. Students of TranslaStars courses can take the courses from wherever they want with no time limit or due dates for completion.
B. OBLIGATIONS
Obligations applicable to all courses
1. Students will maintain appropriate standards of behavior at all times and will respect the opinions of their peers and tutors, learning from them and applying opportunities for improvement in successive projects (in the case of receiving feedback).
2. The student agrees not to distribute to third parties in any form or by any means or channel the contents of the courses and/or projects assigned to him (the student may advertise that he/she is carrying out a certain project, but should not share its content).
3. Time for course completion: TranslaStars does not set a deadline for the completion of courses.
C. COURSE FEE REFUND GUARANTEE
Conditions for the refund of the course fee
1. We allow you to take one third of any course without any obligation (for example, until 3rd unit in a 10 unit course). If upon completion of one third (or earlier) of the course you have chosen, its structure and contents do not match your interests, just send an email to manager@translastars.com explaining the issue, and we will refund your course fee.
2. You have 14 days from the day you purchase the course to finish the first three units (or to cover 30% of the content of the course) and decide if you want to continue or if you prefer to be refunded the amount you paid for the course. In case the course had not started following 14 days after the purchase, those 14 days will count as days to decide if you want to take the course or not (there will be no refunds after those 14 days).
3. If 10 days after registration you have not completed the said one third of the course, there will be no possibility of refunding the course fee.
4. If you advance beyond one third, we will understand that the course is in line with your expectations and there will be no possibility of refund of the fee you have paid for the course.
5. A person who has asked for a course refund is not authorised to buy the same course later. If he/she did buy a course for which he/she had asked a refund, TranslaStars would return the amount paid substracting the operation costs (€20).
6. All refunds (whether on courses or plans of any type) have a €20 charge over the price paid to cover for the expenses of the purchase and refund operation (payment gateways charge us for sales and refunds).
7. In the event that TranslaStars is forced to change the dates of a course due to force majeure beyond its control, it will be understood that students are not entitled to a refund of the money paid for the course since they are offered to take the course at a later date (and the course is not cancelled).
Some of the causes of force majeure may be (this is not an exhaustive list and there may be other causes not contemplated here):
- illness of the course tutor,
- problems with the internet,
- technical problems with the learning platform provider,
- technical problems with the meeting provider.
8. In the event that TranslaStars is forced to change the tutor/s of a course due to force majeure beyond its control, it will be understood that students are not entitled to a refund of the money paid for the course since they are offered to take the course with the same contents and delivered by a tutor with similar or higher knowledge than the one initially appointed (and the course is not cancelled).
Some of the causes of force majeure may be (this is not an exhaustive list and there may be other causes not contemplated here):
- illness of the course tutor,
- course tutor being unavailable.
D. COURSE FEE REFUND GUARARANTEE (for PROD+L courses)
Conditions for the refund of the course fee
Due to the nature of these courses with live sessions, we allow you to take the first week of the course with no obligation. If upon completion of the first unit (or earlier) of the course you have chosen, its structure and contents do not suit your interests, just send an email to manager@translastars.com explaining the issue, and we will refund the course fee.

E. DISCOUNTS
1. Discounts are not applied retroactively. That is to say, if you have previously purchased a course/plan without a discount, we will not be able to refund part of the amount you have paid for the course.
F. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
1. TranslaStars has the right to modify the points in this document without prior notice to students enrolled on its courses. In any case, the conditions accepted by the student at the time of acquisition of a course will be respected.
2. TranslaStars is not responsible for the content published by its collaborators in any of its courses or social media. In the event that any natural or legal person identifies that some type of right is being violated or that the content may be offensive, TranslaStars is committed to withdrawing said content as soon as possible. All content used and/or uploaded to TranslaStars is for educational purposes only.
3. TranslaStars has the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, close, open, and create courses without prior notice to students. TranslaStars is committed in any case to respect the conditions signed by the students.
4. TranslaStars does not offer paid/unpaid internships as part of its courses.
G. VAT FOR SPANISH TAX PAYERS
VAT is not applicable in education in Spain.
Subscription Plans Terms and Conditions
- Yearly Premium Plan offers unlimited access on all TranslaStars' courses, webinars, workshops, and interviews in all languages (ES, IT, EN) during on a yearly basis ;
2. Students have the right to subscribe or unsubscribe at any time without being subject to any kind of permanence. Students can pass to a superior plan, not to an inferior one, paying the difference between what they had paid for the inferior plan and the price of ths superior plan (except in the case of the Monthly Premium Plan-in case you are subscribed to the Monthly Premium Plan you cannot pass to a superior plan with a discount).
5. Localization Management Academy and TranslaStars University courses are not part of TranslaStars' courses and thereby are not part of their subscription plans.
7. Mentoring programs were only included in the (heritage) Exclusive Forever Plan but not in the rest of plans, as they are not considered to be courses or webinars. In the Exclusive Forever Plan, students need to communicate which Mentoring Program they would like to follow after subscribing.
5. Subscription or licenses in corporate subscription plans cannot be passed to different people than those first assigned to them (e.g. when you purchase a license for a corporate subscription plan, that license is assigned to a person forever. If that person leaves your company and you want another member of your staff to join the corporate subscription plan, you will need to purchase another license or use another of the licenses you have purchased).
6. All refunds (whether on courses or plans of any type) have a 10% charge over the price paid to cover for the expenses of the refund operation (payment systems charge us for sales and refunds).
7. TranslaStars has no obligation to return the amount paid for a subscription plan after the subscription has been renewed by the student (in the case of monthly or yearly subscriptions).
8. If you have purchased a subscription plan with a discount, please note that, if it is an annual plan, at the end of the first year you will be charged the full price of that plan as shown on our website.
9. Companies acquiring subscription plans with the corporate solution on any of our platforms are promoted with their logo on the TranslaStars Corporate webpage. In case that a company does not want to appear featured there, they just need to inform us (info@translastars.com) and we will remove their logo immediately.
5. In case TranslaStars went out of business for any unfortunate reason, the amount paid in the subscription plans is considred to be covered after 6 months. In case business ceased before 6 months after a subsription plan had been acquired TranslaStars will return half the amount paid in the Premium Plan and the total amount in Forever and Exclusive Forever Plans.

Mentoring Programs Terms and Conditions
4. Students have right to change the date of the same session once. After the first change if a student cannot attend the scheduled live session, this session will be considered as completed.
