EXPERT COURSE

Building Localization Workflows on Claude

Why Image Localization Matters Today

Most of the AI workflows taught right now assume you have engineering support, API access, or a budget for custom tools. There is a much larger group of localization professionals for whom none of that is true. Freelance localizers running multi-client operations, in-house localization managers at small companies with no dev support, or LSP project leads serving SMB clients belong to that underserved group.

This course teaches a complete, governed localization workflow using only the Claude products that come with a standard Claude Pro subscription, plus Crowdin as the operational TMS underneath. No code, no API, and no engineering team is required to follow along.

You assemble 4 layers: a context layer in claude.ai with Projects and Skills, an automation layer with Cowork running locally on your desktop, a visual layer with Claude Design for client-facing deliverables, and an operational layer where Crowdin's Style Guide, glossary and AI Pipeline turn all of that into governed translation.

By the end of the session, you will have a complete configured system for one fictional client, and a recipe you can apply to your own work.

Session 1 -  LOCALIZATION WORKFLOWS WITH CLAUDE

Building Real Localization Workflows with Claude

Session 1

1. The small-operator problem
2. Context layer: claude.ai Projects and Skills
3. Automation layer: Cowork on the desktop
4. Visual layer: Claude Design for client deliverables
5. Operational layer: Crowdin as the TMS underneath
6. The assembled system

Course Description

This hands-on course teaches a complete four-layer localization workflow built only with Claude products that come with a standard Claude Pro subscription, plus Crowdin as the operational TMS.
Participants build the system live during the session.

The four layers:
  • Context layer (claude.ai Projects + Skills): a per-client or per-brand workspace where style guide, glossary, past decisions, and reference materials persist across conversations, so you stop pasting your context into every prompt
  • Automation layer (Cowork): file organization, batch processing and prep work for translation projects, running locally on the desktop. Available on Pro on both macOS and Windows
  • Visual layer (Claude Design): client-facing deliverables (kickoff briefs, market briefs) produced in a consistent brand voice without needing a designer
  • Operational layer (Crowdin): where the context and structure built into Claude becomes a governed translation workflow, with TM, glossary, Style Guide, and the AI Pipeline doing what they were built to do

Crowdin is positioned as the strongest operational layer for small operators, specifically because of three factors: a free tier they can genuinely start with, native Style Guide functionality that mirrors the brand context built in Claude, and the AI Pipeline that gives small operators enterprise-level translation quality control without enterprise tooling.

The session uses a fictional brand throughout so participants can follow along hands-on without confidentiality concerns.

Who is this course for?

This session is ideal for:
  • Freelance localizers running multi-client operations who want a real system instead of pasting context into every conversation
  • In-house localization managers at small companies with no dev support, expected to use AI in their workflow, but without enterprise tooling
  • LSP project leads serving SMB clients who need scalable processes without enterprise budgets
  • Localization consultants and one-person operations whose team is themselves plus a contractor
  • Anyone who has watched an AI workflow demo and thought "that is great, but how do I actually do this without an engineering team?"

Resources

Technical
  • Claude Pro subscription (gives access to Projects, Skills, Cowork and Claude Design, the four pillars of the session)
  • Claude Desktop app installed. Available on both macOS and Windows. This is required for the Cowork block
