Miguel Sepúlveda
Miguel is a senior Localization leader with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft and with global telecommunications leaders including Nokia and Vodafone, building a strong background in large-scale, international Localization programs. He currently serves as Globalization Director at King, Microsoft’s mobile games division, globally recognized for titles such as Candy Crush.
In addition to his in-house leadership roles, Miguel brings over a decade of vendor-side experience as a Localization Manager at Lionbridge, giving him a rare, well-rounded perspective on both client and service-provider environments. He also collaborates with Nimdzi Insights as a Globalization consultant, advising organizations on Localization strategy and program development, and delivering workshops on storytelling and communication for Localization teams worldwide.
Miguel holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and is a Certified Competent Communicator from Toastmasters International, with a strong track record in public speaking, including a second-place finish in the Barcelona speech contest in 2017. He is an active thought leader in the field, writing weekly on his blog yolocalizo.com, speaking at international events such as LocWorld, and regularly appearing on podcasts to discuss Localization, communication, and leadership.
