About ANn-kathrin
Ann-Kathrin is a language and travel enthusiast.
During her bachelor's programme, she spent one semester abroad in Rennes (France) and worked some time in a translation agency in London (Great Britatin) to make international experiences and expand her language skills.
With her master's degree in Software Localisation, she specialised in this field and is now working as technical writer and translator in a software company and has more than five years of practical experience.
Ann-Kathrin is keen to support students or interested people on their way into the localisation industry and loves to exchange knowledge and ideas with colleagues from all over the world, for example, at the monthly LocLunches she organises.
In her free time, she is active in different areas: she plays in a regional orchestra and especially enjoys travelling, hiking and being surrounded by friends and family.
