With a 7 years old experience as an interpreter and translator in the defense sector, Flaminia Munafo has worked alongside military personnel, diplomats, and security professionals in a variety of sensitive environments. From high-level negotiations to military technical trainings, Flaminia has facilitated communication where precision, discretion, and cultural awareness.

While primarily aimed at language professionals such as interpreters and translators, this course is also highly beneficial for military personnel, security professionals, international relations experts, or anyone working in sectors where interpreting and translation play a vital role in defense and security contexts.

If English is typically your target language, be prepared to handle interpreting from English into your own language in our practical exercises.

Since 2017, Flaminia has worked as a freelance interpreter and translator, specializing in Arabic, English, and Spanish. With extensive experience in high-stakes fields such as defense and security, human rights, immigration, and commerce, she has built a reputation for accuracy, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.
Flaminia holds a Master's Degree in Conference Interpreting and Translation from UNINT (Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma) and a Master's Degree in Marketing, Communication, and Made in Italy from the Fondazione Italia-USA.
Her professional expertise is deeply enriched by a life spent crossing borders, both literally and figuratively. From Erasmus programs in Granada and Marrakech to participation in conferences on intercultural translation, Flaminia has honed her ability to navigate complex linguistic and cultural landscapes.
Alongside her work as an interpreter, she enjoys sharing her passion for languages through teaching, helping others unlock the power of effective communication.
As an interpreter, she understands that her role goes beyond words—it’s about building bridges between people and fostering mutual understanding in every interaction.
