Meet

Diego Perez

Diego Perez is an English-to-Portuguese (Brazil) game localization expert with roughly 20 in-game credits to his name, including Final Fantasy VII: Remake, StarCraft: Remastered and Far Cry 6.
After graduating in Language & Literature from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, he went on to become translator, editor or language lead in over 200 video games in 7 years.
Diego is also an accomplished software localization and Marketing translation specialist that believes a successful game localization should draw from various writing frameworks to provide a great experience.
Currently based in São Paulo, Brazil, he's a cat lover with a wife and a stepdaughter, playing the guitar in rock bands in his spare time.
