MENTORING PROGRAM

MTMM: Medical Translation (EN-ES)

Medical translation has always been one of the most in-demand fields before covid, but since the end of 2019, the boom in this field has been spectacular. There has always been a need for medical translators, but now there is a need for more

Apart from content related to the pandemic, there is a high variety of texts that need to be translated into many languages, from clinical trials to journalistic articles or popular science sections.

The main problem translators have to face is that most of them know little or nothing about medicine, and even less about the medical fields  like immunology, genetics or epidemiology that demand higher skilled translators.
This mentoring program offers you the possibility to enjoy an unparalleled personalized experience with 1:1 sessions, masterclasses with Pablo Mugüerza, and real life examples Pablo himself has worked on. You will also have the possibility to propose Pablo to work on projects on which you have a special interest.

Pablo is a medical doctor and has been translating and revising medical texts for more than 35 years. He has also been for more than 10 years teaching and mentoring about medical translation all over the world.
